GAINESVILLE, Ga. (AP) — A 42-year-old man was found shot to death inside a Gainesville car dealership Friday morning, according to police.

Police responded to a Mitsubishi dealership around 7:45 a.m. and later identified the man as Charles Weaver of Gainesville. Weaver was an employee of the dealership and his colleagues found him there Friday, said Gainesville police Cpl. Kevin Holbrook.

A red 2011 Nissan Frontier was stolen from the dealership after the shooting, police said. The truck is stamped with Mitsubishi, Kia and Nissan logos, and "Carriagecars.com" is printed on the truck in white letters. The truck has a Georgia license plate number of BSA7013, and the driver might be armed and dangerous, police said.

There were no witnesses, and no suspects were taken into custody, police said. It was unclear Friday whether a surveillance system inside the dealership recorded the incident.
