Police: Rome man chased, stole items from victim after fight

A Rome man remained in jail Sunday night after he allegedly pulled the clothes off a victim during an altercation and chased the victim down a road near Crane Street and Wilshire Road, according to a Floyd County Jail report.

According to the report:

Derek L.C. Reynolds, 23, of 8 Crane St. also is accused of stealing $10, a cigarette lighter and a list of phone numbers from the victim. He was charged with felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor theft by taking.
