Man faces forgery charges

A man was in jail Wednesday night after he allegedly cashed a fraudulent check made out to him, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Connie Wayne Breshers Jr., 42, of 2151 Hamstead Court, Suwanee, was charged with felony first-degree forgery after he passed a bad check at the Wells Fargo branch located at 2 Redmond Circle last February.

Breshers cashed the check for $1,497.28 with intent of defrauding the bank.

He remained in jail without bond.
