A Rockmart man was charged late Wednesday night after police alleged he had a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue in his pocket at the intersection of Barker Road and U.S. Highway 20, according to a Floyd County Jail report.

According to the report:

Jason Nathaniel Pope Jr, 19, of 2310 Old Cedartown Road, was charged with a felony count of possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug related objects.
