Kadi Rebekah Garner and Jason Eugene Sisson were married at 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at Glory Tabernacle in Rome.

The bride is the daughter of Tim and Kathy Garner of Rome. The bridegroom is the son of Teresa and Robert Ginapp of Rockmart and William Sisson, Sr.

Pastor Inez Lucas performed the double ring ceremony.

Music selections included and “You Are the Answer to My Prayer” and “Only God Could Love You More” performed by Rev. and Mrs. Glenn Davis. as the bride walked down the aisle.

Allie Garner, sister-in-law of the bride, served as the matron of honor. She wore a red dress of bridal satin overlayed with red tulle and carried a hand-tied nosegay of white daisies, red carnations, alstromeria and baby’s breath.

Grace Arnold and Maddie Arnold of Rockmart, nieces of the groom, served as flower girls. They wore white satin full-length dresses adorned with red satin sashes.

They carried white wicker baskets adorned with red bows and they scattered red rose petals.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. She wore a formal gown of ivory satin. The mock two-piece gown featured a sleeveless bodice with a sweetheart neckline. The top of the bodice was enhanced with silver embroidery and pearl beading. The full skirt flowed into a sweep train and was also edged with silver embroidery and pearls. A tiara with a fingertip length tulle veil completed the ensemble. She carried a hand-tied nosegay of red roses, seed pearls and baby’s breath.

William Sisson, Jr., brother of the groom, was the best man. Ushers were Jason Garner, brother of the bride, of Rome, and Rodger Fontenot of Rockmart.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship hall. The triple tiered wedding cake had vanilla layers with buttercream icing that was adorned with red roses. The groom’s cake was sour cream pound cake frosted with whipped cream & strawberries.

After a honeymoon trip to the mountains, the couple resides in Rome.
