The Lady Chargers, who have enjoyed great success in their inaugural season, fell to Chattahoochee Tech, 61-60, on Sunday afternoon at GHC.
The defeat came on the heels of Saturday’s emotional loss to Darton College.
The Lady Chargers — who are now 15-3 overall and 8-2 in the conference — owned a four-point lead with 34 seconds left in Sunday’s game. But Chattahoochee used a 3-pointer, followed by a steal and a layup, to pull off the comeback.
Manon Cherubini led GHC in scoring with 18 points, and Seandree Lee had 15 points and 14 rebounds.
Shan’Taja Latimore also had a big night for GHC with 12 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and four blocked shots.
The GHC men also lost on Sunday, falling to Chattahoochee Tech, 94-59.
Former Coosa star Slade Shumate, who now plays for Chattahoochee Tech, scored eight points for the high-powered Golden Eagles.
Caleb Martin, JR Davis and former Armuchee star Matt Catanzano had nine points each for GHC.
The GHC teams will host East Georgia on Wednesday.
