Two Rome women were arrested Wednesday after they were allegedly part of a group of people who stole a car from a Cave Spring Road residence, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Maria Carrie, 18, of 431 Collier Road, and Laci Diann Wilson, 17, of 29 Acorn Road, were both with other offenders who knew they were going to a Cave Spring home to steal a white 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan on Dec. 20.

The two were also charged with illegal activity that occurred between Dec. 20 and Dec. 26.

A warrant stated that Carrie encouraged and aided a juvenile to smoke synthetic marijuana and supplied real marijuana during the period.

Wilson allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with a male younger than the age of 16 several times during the time frame while staying at hotels and other residences in Floyd County.

Both women were charged with felony theft by taking, while Wilson was charged with felony statutory rape and Carrie was charged with misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Wilson remained in jail without bond Wednesday night, while Carrie was released on $3,500 bond.
