Who is answering the questions? Jeff and Jenny Ward

What is the primary purpose of your business? Our primary purpose is to provide the best available insurance products and services at affordable prices. With close to 50 years of insurance experience between the two of us, we fell we are able to provide outstanding customer service, with an added personal touch.

What is the business background of the owners? Jeff has been in the insurance business since 1984 and Jenny since 1994. Most recently we both worked for over 15 years for a large insurance company in their Rome local office.

Why did you start (or purchase) this particular business? We wanted to have multiple options for our customers, as well as the freedom to grow and manage our own business. We now offer a wide variety of insurance products and services, allowing us to better service our customer’s needs.

What makes your business unique? Our customers are like our family. We have customers who have been insured with us for many years. They are more than just a policy number to us. We genuinely care about making sure each customer has the coverage’s that fit their budget and their needs.

What do you enjoy most about your chosen profession? We enjoy meeting new people and getting to know our customers so we can help them solve their insurance problems. In many instances we have been able to provide more coverage for them for less money.

What has been the biggest or most interesting challenge to overcome as a small business owner? It is always a challenge as a new business owner letting people know where you are and what you can do to improve their current situation. Another challenge is that we are now the customer service department, the IT department, the payroll/bookkeeping department, the maintenance crew, the supply department, and basically the chief bottle washers. That is definitively an exciting challenge we have enjoyed meeting head on.
