An art exhibit, showcasing the work of several Rome artists in various mediums will be on display through March.

The Rome Art Coterie, courtesy of Keep Rome Floyd Beautiful, has been given the opportunity to show their work on the second floor lobby of Rome City Hall.

These juried shows, titled “Art at the Hall” are ongoing and will change quarterly. The current show will continue through March.

The current exhibit features work by 10 Coterie members and consists of 15 juried works in acrylic, water color, pastel, mixed media and papier mache.

Viewing is available during City Hall’s normal business hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. as well as during intermission and before and after all performances at the Rome City Auditorium.

A special “Meet the Artist” event takes place Jan. 28 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on the second floor of City Hall, 601 Broad Street, which is accessible by stairs or elevator. Refreshments will be served.

For additional information about the Rome Art Coterie or about the exhibit, call Eric Dempsey and 706-853-0341.
