GNTC MEN 69, MACON STATE 65

Georgia Northwestern rallied from 11 points down in the final five minutes to shock Macon State, 69-65, at the Rossville Athletic Complex on Friday night.

GNTC sophomore NJCAA All-Region and All-District player Alex Miller led the Bobcats with 19 points.

The Bobcats owned a commanding lead going into the break, 34-20. However, the visiting Blue Storm went on a 30-8 run to open the second half.

Down by three with :40 to play, freshman Bobcat Tavish Reynolds launched a 3-pointer from the home bench corner to tie the score at 65.

Hunter Ivester had two steals in the final :40 of play that led to the final four points of the game.

Ivester finished with 12 points, six rebounds, three steals and three assists.
