Police: Man stayed inside business after closing

A man was arrested lat Saturday night after he allegedly stayed inside a North Rome store after closing, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the report:

Rigoberto Gomez Juarez, 40, of 300 Waddell St., Apt. C-7, Rome, remained inside the Hop-N-Shop located at 301 Calhoun Ave. Saturday night after the store had closed. He then resisted arrest when officers arrived on the scene.

Juarez was charged with three counts of felony obstruction of law enforcement officers and a misdemeanor count of criminal trespass.

He remained in jail Sunday night, Jan. 27, without bond.
