Workers begin to craft the exterior walls of the new Publix on Turner McCall Boulevard. The 54,817-square-foot grocery store and its accompanying new shops are expected to open in late 2013. Charles Hight Square is expected to be home to more than a dozen shops, including several restaurants. AT&T is moving its corporate wireless store from the intersection of Second Avenue and Turner McCall to an outparcel in the new shopping center. La Parilla restaurant, Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches, Fantastic Sam’s Hair Cuttery, Benchmark Physical Therapy, Sun Tan Hut and Spa One Nails have committed to the project.
