From Shorter University:

All classes are canceled at the main campus at Shorter University.

From Berry College Elementary and Middle Schools:

All BCEMS after school activities, sports practices, enrichment classes, and Kids’ College have been canceled due to potential additional storms, rain, and flooding.

If driving to mountain campus, be prepared for large puddles.

We will have a regular car line and bus line pick up.

From Rome City Schools:

Rome City Schools have canceled after school trips outside of the county.

From Floyd County Schools:

All after school activities including sporting practices and after school care have been cancelled for today. This is as a precaution for possible flooding. A lot of rain has fallen and will continue to fall in the next few hours.

Darlington Schools:

Due to reported flooding and damage in our service area, we have cancelled all after-school activities for all divisions. This includes all athletic and fine arts practices as well as Extended Day at the Lower School. The Upper School late bus will not run today. We will continue to monitor the weather very closely as there is still a tornado watch in effect until 4 p.m. Please rest assured that the safety of your children is our first priority.
