A Rome woman was in jail Tuesday night, charged with theft by taking and burglary.

According to Floyd County jail reports:

Deborah Cromer Palmer, 60, of 88 Painter Road broke into a storage unit on Dugger Drive Monday night and took a bag of items.

She remained in jail on Tuesday night with no bond set for the burglary charge.
