Mark and Neila Gray and Susan and Mark Blair of Rome announce the engagement of their daughter, Ali Gray, to Will Smith, son of Gary and Terry Smith of Cedar Bluff, Ala.

Miss Gray is a 2010 graduate of Pepperell High School and attended Georgia Northwestern Technical College. She is employed by Floyd Urgent Care of Rome. She is a member of the First Baptist Church of Lindale.

The bride-elect is the sister of Jarrett Gray of Rome. She is the stepsister of Blake gilbert of Lexington, Ky., Tyler Gilbert of Kennesaw and Scott Blair of Duluth.

She is the granddaughter of Betty Jean Gray of Lindale, Roy Green of Lindale, the late Franklin Gray and the late Betty Green. She is the great-granddaughter of Lillian Milton of Lindale.

Smith is a 2008 graduate of Cedar Bluff High School. He is employed by Bekaert Steel Wire Corporation of Rome.

The groom-elect is the brother of Logan Smith of Cedar Bluff, Ala., He is the grandson of Nancy Freer of Lindale, Conney Batson DVM and Caroline Batson of Rome and the late F.A. Smith.

A private wedding ceremony will take place in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., at The Barn at Immanuel’s Farm on March 23, 2013 at 2 p.m. A reception will follow. Invitations will be sent.
