2 ambulances carry injured from wreck on Shorter Avenue near East Drive

Georgia State Patrol troopers report one person had leg and arm injuries after a tractor trailer hit a car on Alabama Highway near its intersection with East Drive. According to Tfc. Jamie Mitchell, a tractor trailer was in the left lane heading east and may have traveled into the turn lane to get a clear shot at a driveway, striking a Nissan Altima in the right lane. The injury was to the right front passenger in the Altima. No names have been released.

Previously posted: Two ambulances carrying injured people left the scene of a wreck on Shorter Avenue and East Drive. The Georgia State Patrol has responded to the wreck. Traffic is slowed in the area but is moving in both directions. The wreck involved a truck and a car.

Emergency responders are responding to a wreck involving a tractor-trailer truck and another vehicle on Shorter Avenue near East Drive.
