Tess Rider
Rider is a graduate of Marine combat training at Camp Geiger, N.C., and a graduate of Marine Corp Communication-Electronics School at Twenty Nine Palms, Calif., where she graduated second in her class with a commendation for outstanding performance.
She is the daughter of William Douglas Rider of Cave Spring and Betsy Davis of Rome. Her grandmothers are Betty W. Davis of Rome and Ann Bailey of Trion.
Rider is currently stationed in Camp Lejeune, N.C.
