Last Saturday’s “Restore Lindale” project got under way with a total of 67 area residents along with the Pepperell High School baseball team and their head coach, Wright Edge, and assistant coach, John Rhodarmer.

A special thanks to Joe Silva (Lindale) and Mary Hardin Thornton from Keep Rome-Floyd Beautiful for her enthusiasm to help make the Silver Creek cleanup a success. And to the Floyd County Public Works Department for their much-needed efforts in hauling off all our debris.

Also, there will be more scheduled cleanup opportunities to come. Pictures of Saturday’s cleanup can be viewed on the Lindale Mill Facebook page along with scheduled cleanup dates.
