Lyndsey Danielle Choate and Benjamin David Sapp were married at 4 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 in a double-ring ceremony at The Farm in Rome.

The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Stephanie Choate of Rome. She is the granddaughter of Danny and Debbie DiPrima, Lance and Kathy Wheeler, Earnie and Linda Choate, Patricia Tate and the late Charles Tate.

The groom is the son of David and Chrisi Sapp of Rome. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sapp, Georgia Summerville and the late Harold Curtis “Curt” Summerville.

The Rev. Kevin Geier performed the ceremony.

A program of wedding music included “Only Hope,” “A Thousand Years,” “Making Memories of Us” and “Marry Me.”

Kacey Bohannon of Rome served as the maid of honor. She wore a chiffon empire-waist dress with brown Dutch fringe in a one-should style with bubble sleeves and western cowgirl boots. The bridesmaids were Julie Bohannon, Ashlea Atkins, Bekah Sapp, sister of the groom, Megan Sapp, sister-in-law of the groom, Katie Traylor and Taylor Salmon, cousin of the groom, all of Rome. They wore chiffon shift dress with brown Dutch fringe with three-quarter length sleeves and western cowgirl boots. They carried handmade dried blue ball hydrangea clusters with caspia, piece ti-tree and dyed dudinea hand-tied with burlap.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. She wore a lace over beaded floral charmeuse gown with soutache detail in soft white with a fit and flare silhouette with a chapel train and beaded sash. She wore an ivory-colored chapel-length veil. She carried a handmade dried blue ball hydrangea clusters with lotus pods, wheat spikes and safflower handtied with burlap.

The mother of the bride chose an ivory and black knee-length dress with pearl embellishments. The mother of the groom wore a gold knee-length dress with matching jacket.

David Sapp, father of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Joe Sapp, brother of the groom, Trey Salmon, cousin of the groom, Colby Thomas, cousin of the groom, Jessie Bannister, Ben Martin and Michael Dennis, all of Rome. They were attired in tan vests and pants with orange and coral ties and cowboy boots. They wore handmate boutonnieres of pinecones and burlap tied with twine and coral ribbons.

Following the ceremony, a sit-down dinner and reception was hosted by the bride’s parents in the ballroom at The Farm.

Refreshments included the bride’s four round individual wedding cakes consisting of red velvet with smooth cream cheese icing and diamond dust sparkes, strawberry with smooth strawberry icing, lemon with spooned lemon buttercream icing and white with pink rosette buttercream icing. The groom’s cake was yellow with cooked chocolate icing with “The Hunt is Over” theme with the couple’s initials and topped with deer antlers.

Prior to the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at La Marie’s in Rome. Prenuptial parties included a bachelorette party in Atlanta hosted by Kacey Bohannon.

After a honeymoon in Galtinburg, Tenn., the couple resides in Armuchee.
