Pattillo Industrial Real Estate submitted the Bartow County project to the state department of community affairs under its Developments of Regional Impact program. The site could include at least four industrial buildings, said Brandon Johnson, with Bartow County Zoning Division.
The site near Cartersville is zoned for commercial development, but it has never been developed. Plans for the site were pitched a couple of years ago but eventually withdrawn, Johnson said.
