Ask virtually any customer of Heritage First Bank what sets their bank apart and it’s likely you’ll hear phrases lauding their personal service and the relationships they work to maintain with their customers. But in an era when technologies have largely shaped the face of banking access, the Rome-based community bank has not hesitated to supplement their personal service with leading-edge technology.

Ryan Earnest, President of Heritage First Bank, today announced the unveiling of Mobile Banking, an app-driven free service that allows customers to access their accounts easily, safely and conveniently by way of Android devices, iPhones and iPads.

By downloading the available free app, users can retrieve account balances, utilize Online

Banking and Bill Pay, conduct other transactions including the transfer of funds from one account to another and much more.

In addition, those customers who access the bank’s website from a mobile phone via a browser will be automatically directed to the bank’s mobile version of the Internet Banking Site, Once signed in, customers will be able to securely view account activity, check images, transfer funds between accounts, pay bills and much more.

“We have been diligent in our approach to Mobile Banking,” Earnest explained.

“First and foremost, our team has worked to create a robust service that envelopes the latest technology to effectively ensure privacy and confidentiality. The release of our new Mobile Banking Suite furthers our commitment to provide a value-added, exceeds expectations experience when banking at Heritage First.”

The Mobile Banking capability will be available to bank customers on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, Earnest said. Free apps will be available by following a link on the bank’s website, www.heritagefirstbank.com, as well as the Apple App store for iPhones and iPads and at Google Play for Android devices.
