A Calhoun woman charged with felony theft by taking after she allegedly took a car and refused to return it to the owner has made bond, according to authorities.

According to a warrant at the Floyd County Jail:

Amy Eloise Garrett, 29, of 139 Colony Drive, took a 1999 black Jeep Cherokee Sport while police were making an arrest on Feb. 10 at 910 N. Broad St.

The warrant said Garrett had been asked repeatedly to return the vehicle but did not.

Garrett made bond Thursday.
