WASHINGTON- Today, U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga., vice chairman of the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, made the following statement regarding the capture of Sulaiman Abu Ghayth:

"While I am pleased that Sulaiman Abu Ghayth has been captured and is facing long-overdue justice, I am concerned that once again the Obama administration is treating terrorists like ordinary criminals. Certainly, an individual of Abu Ghayth’s stature who was captured overseas belongs at Guantanamo Bay where we can continue to gather intelligence and he can be tried in a military tribunal, rather than being immediately indicted in federal court."
