LaShun Langston and Shane King, both of Rome, announce their engagement.

Miss Langston is the daughter of Fraklin and Gloria Ware of Rome and Rickey Langston Sr. of Silver Creek.

King is the son of Vicki Toland and the step son of Gary Toland of Rome.

The bride-elect is the mother of DeMya Bryan of Rome, the sister of Sabrena Ellis of Cedartown and Rickey Langston Jr. of Rome. She is the granddaughter of the late James and Christine Champion and the late Carey and Florence Langston.

The groom-elect is the father of Christopher King of New Jersey, Sydney King of Rome and Chance King of Dallas. He is the brother of Kimberly Ramos of Rome, the late Kevin King and the step brother of Jacob Toland, Sarah Toland, Josh Toland and Katy Mitchell, all of Rome. He is the grandson of Mary Jane Estes of Rome and the late Billy Estes.

The wedding ceremony is planned for Saturday, may 4, 2013 at Thankful Baptist church, with a reception to follow at the Cotton Block Hall in Rome. Invitations will be sent.
