Woman accused of trying to steal from hospital

Authorities arrested a woman Tuesday after they say she tried to steal items from Redmond Medical Center.

Lisa Britton, 52, of 452 Cason Road, Cedartown, is charged with criminal trespass, Floyd County Jail records state.

According to reports, Britton was at the Redmond Road hospital about 12:20 p.m. She was seen wandering through the building, trying to steal hospital items.

Britton was asked to leave several times by security, though she refused, reports state.

Britton remained in jail Tuesday night without bond.
