Thursday's weather: Sunny with a high near 56 - area under increased fire danger this afternoon

It's going to be sunny with a high near 56 today with patchy frost likely after 2 a.m. tonight and a low around 33, according to the National Weather Service.

However the windy conditions and low relative humidity puts much of Georgia under the increased risk for fire danger. The National Weather Service warns residents to take extra care.

Friday Patchy frost before 9am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 71. Light southwest wind becoming west 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Saturday Mostly sunny, with a high near 75. Light southwest wind becoming west 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
