ROME, Ga. - "To say that our faith hasn't been shaken at times would be dishonest," missionary David Evans of Rome told 11 Alive news on Wednesday.

Shaken, but not broken.

A week after it happened, Evans and his 7 children are still struggling with the loss of his wife, Melinda.

"Like everyone, we search for answers like, why her, why now, why this way?" he added.
