ATLANTA (AP) — The Georgia World Congress Center Authority — which operates the Georgia World Congress Center, Georgia Dome and Centennial Olympic Park — will participate in Earth Hour.

Earth Hour is a voluntary energy conservation event with participants in nearly 7,000 cities worldwide.

GWCCA officials say to show commitment to energy conservation, the lights will be turned off at the International Plaza, along the drum wall at the Georgia Dome and at Centennial Olympic Park.
