An Adairsville man was arrested Saturday after police said he took a class ring on Oct. 12, 2009, and later pawned it, reports stated.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Jonathon Corey Clayton, 22, of 910 Crowe Springs Spur in Adairsville, was arrested for taking a 2005 gold class ring, valued at more than $500, from the victim’s residence without permission.
Police said the ring was recovered at an Adairsville pawn shop.
Clayton was charged with felony theft by taking.
He was released from jail Saturday on a $3,750 bail.
