A Kingston man was arrested Thursday on warrants stating that he stole merchandise from the Walmart in West Rome last month.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Chadwick Shane Butler, 20, of 31 Golden Way in Kingston, was arrested by Floyd County deputies around 10 a.m. He was charged with felony theft by taking.
Rome police warrants stated that on Jan. 26, Butler took merchandise valued at more than $500 from the Walmart store at 2510 Redmond Circle.
Butler was released from jail on $3,750 bail.
