A Kingston man was arrested on a felony drug charge after he was stopped on Callier Springs Road for weaving, reports stated.
According to reports from the Floyd County Jail:
Will Thomas Mathis, 24, of 360 Gill Road in Kingston, was charged with felony possession of dangerous drugs and misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs and drugs to be kept in original container.
Mathis was stopped by Floyd County police and was reported to have failed field sobriety tests. He told police he’d taken pills earlier in the evening.
Police also found a white pill in his pants pocket.
He remained at the Floyd County Jail without bail for the felony charge.
