A Rome woman was jailed after she was found swinging at a patient in the Floyd Medical Center Emergency Room Thursday afternoon.

Kayla Viola Eskew, 22, of 19 Brookwood Court, was jailed on a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge after Rome police reported she was swinging at a patient in a dark room in the Floyd Medical Center Emergency Room.

An officer took Eskew into custody when they found her in the room on top of the patient. Police reported she said she blacked out and didn’t know what she was doing.

Police were initially called out to the hospital after Eskew was reported to have been yelling profanity at the patient.

She remained in jail on $270 property bond.

doubt she was an employee. 19 years old and living in the projects? not your everyday floyd employee there! my money says the troll was most likely another patient, probably there for some mental issue that she wont be paying for of course, when all of the sudden another troll patient made her mad and she had to "keep it real"! like chappelle says, "when keeping it real goes wrong"!!!

Was this person that was arrested an employee? or was she visiting a patient? when I saw "dark room" I thought the dark room in xray where the films are developed...but that may not be what they mean.
